George Avgousti has been photographing and filming weddings in Cyprus for more than twelve years. Based in Paphos, he and his team work across the island, from intimate ceremonies by the sea to traditional Cypriot celebrations and weddings that run over several days. Based in Cyprus, they also travel for weddings worldwide.
Their approach is quiet and unhurried: they stay close to the day without directing it, then shape what they captured into work with the pace and feeling of cinema.
George is a wedding photographer as well as a filmmaker. Cyprus Wedding Films is the home of his films; his photography lives at George Avgousti Photography & Films. Couples who would like both can have their photography and film from the same team.
