A multi-day Hindu wedding at Coral Beach Resort, Paphos

Several days of celebration on Coral Bay, filmed from the first gathering to the last.

Filmed at Coral Beach Resort

The celebration

A Hindu wedding is not one day. It unfolds over several: the gatherings before the wedding, the ceremony itself, and the celebrations that follow. Each has its own pace and its own people at the centre of it.

This one took place at Coral Beach Resort in Paphos, and we filmed it across its days.

The venue

Coral Beach Hotel & Resort sits on 300 metres of sandy beach at Coral Bay, north of Paphos, where the coast runs up towards the Akamas peninsula. For ceremonies it has a pier over the water, an amphitheatre that looks onto the hotel's own harbour, and a garden above the beach.

The coast here faces west, so the sun goes down over the sea. For a celebration that lasts several days, that means several evenings of the best light.

Filming over several days

Coverage of a multi-day wedding is tailored to its events. The couple sends their plans, with each date, and the proposal is built around them so that every gathering has the coverage it needs.

Vows and speeches are recorded with dedicated microphones, and drone footage places each day in its setting: the bay, the beach and the resort from above.

The film

The highlights film from this wedding is at the top of the page. A shorter teaser from the same celebration is on the Films page.
